Damali Edwards
Mrs. Edwards has been in the recruiting industry for 15 years. She founded Conscious Recruiting, Inc. (formerly Edwards Consulting Firm, Inc.) in 2002 and serves as the chief executive officer.
Damali has a strong background in the managing the recruiting life cycle, including preliminary research, direct recruiting, sourcing and candidate management. She brings her unique 360-degree span of knowledge to all search projects. During her career she has been a client, recruiter and placed candidate of retained search services. She has completed training in various leadership programs, including certification as a job and career transition and development coach and entrepreneurship coach by the Career Planning and Adult Development Network.
Damali is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she received a bachelor of arts degree. Damali is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She has been involved in numerous leadership roles, including as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Agnes Scott College, an executive member of the Small-to-Midsized Business Council and Regional Education Policy Committee at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and founding board member of GlobalExecWomen (formerly Tuesday Women). Damali is an active member in industry associations such as the International Association for Corporate and Professional Recruitment (IACPR) and Top Echelon Network (TE).
Damali is an often-quoted expert who enjoys writing articles and speaking about talent acquisition and career transition trends. She finds great joy in helping others "be all they can be" in their careers or in their own solo businesses through structured private coaching programs and products. She currently serves on the advisory board of Enterprising Women magazine.
Caryn Ewald
Mrs. Ewald is director of research and has been affiliated with Conscious Recruiting, Inc. since 2004. She brings more than 10 years of domestic and international executive research experience to our organization. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Caryn enjoys reading, running and gardening.
